Transformers Blu-Ray #2 on Sales Chart...14 Weeks After Release

?Hancock? Super on Shelves | homemediamagazine.com

Although the article doesn't state it, it's more than likely due to the low price of the movie on Blu-Ray during Black Friday sales. Still, a nice feat for a movie 14 weeks after its release.

Watched the movie on a 1080p 120Hz TV recently. Looks simply amazing. I have a 1080i TV and it still looks amazing on that. But after seeing it on the 120hz TV, I felt like I was watching live performers.

Got it for $9 on Black Friday, so when you take the $10 rebate into account, I got it for FREE! Only reason I bought it was I like some of the specials that were not on the single DVD release. I wish more companies would give an incentive for current DVD owners to upgrade. Makes the transition to BluRay a tad nicer in this horrific economy that's only gonna tank closer to a true depression.
Epic FAIL!

Anytime.

Also, a few weeks ago, I got my $10 rebate for owning both the DVD and Blu-Ray of Transformers. Took about 5 weeks or so to arrive.

I recently purchased the Blu-ray at Bestbuy for 10 dollars during Black Friday!

Joe does that rebate work for the having the HD-DVD version?

I'm not sure. It would say on the promotion slip inside the Blu-Ray case.

Thank you for beating me to the context.

This is shameless promotionalism, which I can expect from Paramount and Hasbro, but an independent journalism acticle should have done better.

Does not apply to HD-DVD release, only the standard DVD release. My friend had the Xbox HDDVD player and TF, just bought a BluRay on Black Friday, and bought Transformers too. He called Paramount Home Video customer service (or whatever number is on the rebate form) about the HD-DVD, and they said nope. No problem for him, tho, coz he works at Blockbuster, and just snipped a POP barcode off of a rental box (naughty naughty)!
Epic FAIL!
