Although the article doesn't state it, it's more than likely due to the low price of the movie on Blu-Ray during Black Friday sales. Still, a nice feat for a movie 14 weeks after its release. |

Only reason I bought it was I like some of the specials that were not on the single DVD release. I wish more companies would give an incentive for current DVD owners to upgrade. Makes the transition to BluRay a tad nicer in this horrific economy that's only gonna tank closer to a true depression.

My friend had the Xbox HDDVD player and TF, just bought a BluRay on Black Friday, and bought Transformers too. He called Paramount Home Video customer service (or whatever number is on the rebate form) about the HD-DVD, and they said nope. No problem for him, tho, coz he works at Blockbuster, and just snipped a POP barcode off of a rental box (naughty naughty)! | |
