My girlfriend and I were at Circuit City this weekend and I saw TF running on one of those TVs... I felt like a caveman who was brought to the future and was seeing it unfold before my primordial eyes. I was blown away. I want a TV like this. Are they expensive?

Also, I wonder if somewhere in Paramounts offices they are wondering how much sooner they would have reaped these sales had they not sold out and supported only one format from the start... That is... everyone who wanted it on bluray still bought it, but it would have affected their sales for the release of the movie.

I once farted on the set of Blue Lagoon.

Given the garbage truck that backed up to the Paramount CEO's desk and dumped a heap of cash to support HDDVD, I don't think Paramount's regretting the choice one bit.

Well that's exactly what I am wondering. IF the lump of cash put out was greater than the sales would have been for that part of the year. Not overall, because overall, they got the cash for the HD exclusive plus the Bluray Sales later. I am just referring to the movie launch paying off more than the garbage bag.

Joe does that rebate work for the having the HD-DVD version?
I think this is the reason why it's number 2 all of a sudden as I also purchased it for $10 at Best buy on Friday.

Too many gifts to buy, not enough money to go around. Pass.
