I find it amusing how the list says right at the bottom "Only Available in US Territories" and yet I managed to buy the Perceptor set from, and also saw the Snarl set in, a local department store here in Singapore... XD

It's possible that might be what they are waiting on since they might figure it's less of gamble then. Prehaps if a big movie Devastator one did will that might get them to take the risk on some other era big robots as well.

They might have renamed Slag to Snarl to keep the name. They might have already lost Slag and didn't want the same to happen to Snarl.

Personally, I'd have been fine with Autobot Slag or Dinobot Slag but I guess it doesn't really matter. I'll always call him Slag no matter what the box said.

With Slag here, it's really not a Trademark issue. The reason they aren't using the name any more is because the term slag is a bit of an offensive word in the UK. As for the use of Snarl to keep it's trademark, it makes sense, but it's also a temporary replacement for the "Slag" updates we've been getting. Personally I think they should have gone with something different, like Dinobot. That way if they end up giving Snarl an update, they don't have to use a different name for him too.

I find it shocking that with my love of all things smallified/superdeformed and cutesy, I have no Robot Heroes in my collection yet. I so want some now...

Predaking! RiD Megs! Must have eventually.

lol Goofy running Tigatron...that made me crack up. Also, the Lazerbeak. BaGAWK! That just looks a tad crazy.

Oh, I so hope that becomes true with Victory Saber and Deszaras. OMG, I will be able to die happy as long as I have one tiny figure of Deszaras in my collection. But I want a Victory Leo, too. Meh, I'll take VSaber if I have to but it would be cool to have them separate also.

It would be really cool if did try to do more of the less known Japanese TFs. I'd also jump for joy for a Lio Convoy/vs Galvatron or even Big Convoy vs Magmatron.

I'd like to see some previously Japanese only characters as Robot Heroes toys even if they are just repaints of American characters.

I could go for a blue repaint of Ravage as Howlback and a white repaint of Ravage as Glit.

I realized why Laserbeak RH looks so lame. In the actual show and transformable toy design the beak is very small and the pointed head is large and prominent, taking up most of the head volume. In this figure they chose to exaggerate the size of the beak. In the rules of caricature, you are only supposed to exaggerate physical attributes that emphasize the unique character of the subject. By making the beak so big, it bears little recognition to everybody's favorite robotic bird.

And WTF is up with that tongue???

Also the body shape is all messed up. I don't know why I'm so obsessed with how badly this toy turned out. I guess I just wished they got it right.
Sig pics can be no larger than 500 pixels wide or 300 pixels high and must be below 40KB. -2005 Staff
