I do have one major fear though. I think it's pretty obvious that this will be a hasbro preview figure (like the Prime and Starscream we got before, which werent realy seen in the film). I'm worried that the Soundwave in the movie, the earth mode Sound Wave, will lack the recognizable G1 head.
Regardless, this thing looks pretty cool. |

Still, I remain somewhat uncertain as to exactly how much significant this figure is going to be as an indication of Soundwave's in-movie appearance. The general consensus appears to be that this is likely to be a Cybertronian-mode preview toy, much like Protoform Optimus Prime and Starscream from the original movie line, but neither of those toys looked anything like the CGI models in the actual film. I do like the look of this toy (from what I can see of it), because I do enjoy a good G1 reference, but I'm not quite ready to invest my full expectations into actually seeing this design appear on screen next May...
