Thanks guys! I'm really looking forward to showing the next covers - my favs.

BTW I saw a trailer for the crew at the wrap party last weekend. It was really awesome. I can't talk about it of course but I'll let you in on one thing: there were explosions.

GENOZAUR: Perhaps this cover shows a dream sequence, or a flashback, or maybe its all misinformation!?

Alienbot: I'm pretty sure thats one of his outfits in the film.

maybe, i've only seen a tiny bit of BM though ~ i was thinking maybe an old Marvel cover with either Unicron (or it might have even been Galactus or something...) maybe i'm on crack, just seemed really familiar with the light coming up out of the planet where the fingers are.

could be it's not an intentional homage at all and it's just reminding me of something unrelated, evil guy holding a planet isn't really that original at the basic conceptual level...

okay, he needs to draw prime next. He apparently makes everything look 1000x meaner and cooler so I just wanna see my prime!

Nice piece. You can tell from the style of finish on this, and the other covers, that the guy's working in concept art. As always, Cybertron's such a tiny planet tho, amazing how well defined it's architecture is from space Still, it's a case of what works for the image.

It's also good to see more reasonably-drawn people than is usual in a TF comic, even if it's just covers and not interiors... The benefits of employing concept artists, once again. Usually TF artists are obviously great at robots, but bomb with anatomy & proportion; which is a drawback for a story (especially when it's human-centric) set on Earth IMHO.
