my guess is that at some point in the past megatron had soundwave create a backup copy of his living mind when megatron was still alive with soundwave resurrecting megatron by downloading that living copy of megatron's mind into his lifeless body with a allspark fragement itself being used to relight/megatrons spark | |

i think your thinking about that scene from beast machines where it showed beast machines megatron reaching out with his arm holding planet cybertron itself in his hand
i am pretty sure they showed a scene like that once ,maybe twice in beast machines throughout season 1 and 2 | |
