Nice, very in line with the previous Cybertorn set. I wish they would re-release Armada in one box set instead of two.

But it's not in line with the Cybertron DVD set's art at all. The Cybertron set had CG renders of the Prime and Megatron models from the tv show. This is just the old Energon promotional art by Pat Lee.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, HASBRO. STOP USING PAT LEE'S ART! There is probably better existing Dreamwave art from far superior artists and hell, why not do new art with more skilled artists in your employ?

Heh, one letter less, and that's "Energon boxart reviled," which is about right. :)

But it's Energon. NOBODY likes that show. So the saving grace of this DVD set would be good box art, but it doesn't even have that.

Besides, box art is all that seperates the majority of TF DVD sets.

    I....I like Energon :(  :p

Yeah, a bit dissapointed in the choice of artwork, but I'll still consider getting this box.

Yeah, 'cause I got only the second box set of Armada, and it would be nice to watch it from beginning to end. Though Armada's not my fav TF series, but still...

I'll probably pick up Energon, just to say that I've watched it. Even though I've been hearing lots of negativity about that series, it probably wouldn't hurt to watch it every once in a while... don't want to wear out my good G1 and Animated DVDs now, do I?

I never saw the whole series but the gap between my Armada set and Cybertron set was annoying. Good or bad Energon will be a welcomes piece to my TF collection. Now all we need is RID.

    Thanx

I'm getting it. It will replace the 16 VHS tapes I currently have this series on.

And isn't that Energon Prime's toy boxart? I think it's a perfectly reasonable option to go with. Prime combined with Wing Saber would have been the knees of the proverbial bees, though.

better add me to that list because i loved watching the show if only because megatron/galvatron was such a badd-@$$ and also because the show brought back superion devastator and bruticus if only in a somewhat limited manner

i would highly doubt it grifter prime

the only way i managed to get my hands on a english dub of that episode dvd wise was because i went and bought a complete bootleg dvd set off a fellow fan a good 3 or 4 months back before hasbro announced it would finally release energon as a complete series on dvd

bootleg or not having watched the entire series on dvd i can honestly say the guy did a amazing high quality job at digitally preserving and transferring each episode to dvd
