Man, I don't get it! What's the point of Ultras' Onslaught & Silverbolt
when they were making the combiner sets, much less repaints:peoples: ?

I'm happy because now I can have the entire Superion set without having to spend $75 on the two limbs that I'm missing.

Terradive is $35 and Windrazor is between $15 and $35 (in package) on ebay. So, now I can just pop on over to Wal-Mart or wherever this thing will be released and get the whole set for (probably) $30-35.

That's a win in my book.

Still not sold on Bruticus. The original version still looks better IMO.

Superion on the other hand does look good.

These must be an exclusive somewhere... I'm surprised Detective Nevermore hasn't found out yet... :D  They definitely look nice, IMO. The only thing I'm "eh" on is Fireflight's colors.

I agree on both points and think I'll be skipping these two sets

as for Airrazor, it must be something more than not being able to get the Slingshot name..."small but fierce?" was "loudmouth braggart" also trademarked?

another thing to consider you have Onlaught in this ift set, a legends mini-onslught and the ultra-class onlaught. can't recall when three different versions of the same transformer was on the shelf at the same time

Well, there was many during the movie line.

Ultra Onslaught - new mold is always good. I can understand they wanted to do a large Decepticon tank but was surprised they chose Onslaught but with Silverbolt being his opposite, they must have decided on doing new non-combining forms for two of the team leaders.

Legends Onslaught - Hasbro wanted to do Legends repaints into the special team leaders. This started with Menasor in Classics and is ending with the five pack.

Deluxe Onslaught - since they did Classics Devastator, they must have wanted to repaint the other two combiners into their respective G1 forms. In this case, the need for repaint came first over the choice of character... they didn't want to make a new combining toy and didn't because they were lazy, they just wanted to repaint the old Energon toys.

Ugh eee ahhh hmmmm naaa...... can't make up my mind yet!!! I want them but at the same time I can contribute money spent on these to go towards the ultra's Onslaught and Silverbolt.

How much are these supposed to be? If it too much I will pass on these "Box O' Repaints" for now.

Meh....if they had bothered to give either one of the, actual hands and feet, I would have considered this. They looked bad for Energon, and they look bad now.

"Generation 1: The Epic Original" Teehee, a little over the top with that one. I'm good with my Energon combiners, but I'm sure these will please some people.

It's so the light piping in their eyes can be red/orange. I'm fairly sure they are run off on the same spruce.

i appreciate the nod to g1 fans and I'm glad somepeople who really like these characters and molds will get to pick them up, but for me, it's a solid and simple: do not want.
