Personally I don't really have any problems with Pretenders, as I didn't grow up with them. My first experience with anything Transformers was Beast Wars. However I'm not a big fan of them, so I most likely wouldn't buy any updated versions of them, in either the Universe line or the Movie line, or even Animated if they go that route with it. Confused as to the tidbits of the Transformers world the movie folks are picking and choosing seemingly super incoherently. Seems at the least like they're introducing too much new gimmicky stuff to make much sense or relevant story surrounding why they are even there at all (combiners, no Megs, pretenders, etc.).
Also, so that scene with the thing attacking the windshield is very likely this pretender and not Ravage.  | |

I'm sure it will look cool in the movie, but it might scare little kids.
