It's just that in this particular case, the markup is far more noticeable and unusual. Quote:

2: The demand for these are high as hell as ppl rather ay 160 for the pair then 400 alone for Thrust
3: These will NEVER se (imo) a retail relese as FP did it for the US market and TT as exclusivs for the Jap market.
4: BBTS after your 110 calculation still needs to make profit and cover, time, rent, pay for employes and so on.
5: They only so mnay as the preorders are med so 5468 preorders of Thrust and they will make 5468 Thrust's. | 1. I know that already. It's definitely an added expense for sellers, but is anyone certain that it's $30-50 bad?
2. Too true, though. If one is to consider absolutely nothing but the Botcon seeker prices, which are still insane, there's nothing unfair about these. This, I'll definitely concede.
3. This one, I'm not so sure about anymore. Not after the Hasbro Q&A and the significant departure from the G1 wing designs (making Thrust particularly ridiculous) or FP's design. But certainly not in the immediate future, if it happened; I'd guess no sooner than fall or winter 2009, if that.
4. Every product BBTS or any other seller or store has is intended to cover that burden to some degree, so that's not exactly enough. But combined with "anyone will pay this compared to Botcon," it's certainly a more lucrative way to cover expenses and make profit.
5. I don't understand what you're saying there, sorry. Quote:

I think I'll be getting mine from him, as a matter of fact. My Junkion Exchange Feedback| TFs, Halo, Power Rangers Dino Thunder for sale! Quote:

5. They only as many figures as are preordered. So if 5468 Thrust figures are preordered, only 5468 Thrust figures will be available. |

For some reason, the first time I read through Capt.'s post, it didn't make any sense. I was definitely unaware of Thrust and Dirge being made to order. Were Thundercracker and Skywarp the same way? I know other collector-oriented toys have that sort of thing, and even the Botcon figures, but in an instance like this, I'm clueless about how they would handle it.
