Soundwave I think looks great. That is one imposing pressence. Give him a booming, deep monotone and he'll sound the part and have the right silhouette. I hope he has a "battle mask" like some of the first movie designs that involves a faceplate and a visor, that would be too cool.

Ravage looks great, very cinematic. I can see that working extremely well on the big screen, jumping on top of cars smashing roofs and windshields, and snarling in a part organic part mechanical howl and generally coming over as being very evil and terrifying. I can see that thing racing about and jumping lots, on and off of walls and jumping over things.

Ravage looks awesome, exactly how I wanted him to look.
Soundwave's head does remind me of Barricade, I knew he would never be blue too, he's not bad. Still loving the movie aesthetic.
As much as I like seeing concept art it never wows me that much, that usually happens when I start seeing the toys or CG renders.
Anyways look forward to seeing these guys in their final designs. Can't wait for this movie!

To be honest, I'm really finding it difficult to say anything about this Soundwave design, mostly because I'm so unsure as to whether it's real. Straight off the bat, the "cutom desktop wallpaper" design of the concept art sheet is putting me off, with the big, erroneous Transformers II logo in the bottom, but even looking past that, the obvious elephant in the room remains the fact that he's a pickup truck, which Orci said was false. Judged on its own merits, I'd say the design is OK; the blue orbs are quite striking and the head crest is very Soundwave, but otherwise he comes off as a bit generic in both robot and truck mode. Ravage, on the other hand, looks very good, a very striking take on the character. But all of that depends on whether they're authentic or not, so I'll have to wait and see...

I do appreciate the little homagey touch of having the rocket-like-things on the hips though.
I think he needs to be bulky and powerful, so a certain kid wont have an easy time cutting off his head and body, plus this makes him capable on taking down some of the bigger bots like Ironhide. But I don't know about the legitimacy, I'm pretty sure I saw that Ravage somewhere before...
