... | Hasbro's not getting cheap, everything (ie. plastic, paint, labour etc.) is getting more expensive; surely you must've noticed. |

Initial photos showing it looking like it was metallic blue and bronze made it look like Last Autobot, but just black and brown doesn't look close to it in any way... |

Add to that some solid construction, an amazing amount of surface detailing, good articulation, a minicon, concealed sword, firing missile gimmick and electronic sound gimmicks, and he's actually a pretty damn good figure for the money.
On the down side, his transformation is pretty simple, and his alt mode doesn't really look like anything in particular. Just a weird clockwork/steampunk spaceship (which is cool in its own way I guess...). Quote:

The other thing about Vector is that his design is so distinctive, so unique, that repaints don't really have much appeal to me. I usually like repaints to represent a new character, not just the same character I already own in a slightly different colour. In that sense, one Vector Prime is enough for me. Pass. Hasbro can move along to other repaints already...

He's a great toy, but that colour scheme is terrible on him. I don't care who it's based on (and yes, I am well aware). |
