Personally I can't wait for the movie line. There's some 25th anniversary stuff I would like before then as a filler. And I thought the OS answer was sensible.

And here i was hoping for a full on G1 upgrade, Soundwave, Hoist, Trailbreaker, Rumble/Frenzy, Jazz (hopefully before hiatis).

Even the figs from other lines like Hot shot and Cheetor, sounds like they'll be the only two right now. Bummer.

We have a few G1 molds that we would like to see come out in Fall 2009,
but not yet ready to announce as they will likely be retailer exclusives.

i'd imagine we'll see at least some of the Encore bot's come out, probably @ TrU... and these will probably be branded "25th anniversary"

Well, see, usually they give me really cool toys back, so its a fairly decent relationship.

Seriously, my wife will probably be thrilled, but I like having cool toys to buy and after next spring it sounds like a drought in the makings, which, yes, bums me out.

-ZacWilliam, I'm sure there'll be a few I like enough to snag, but Classics/Universe is what I really want from TFs not (with rare exceptions) animated reimaginings or jaggedy-movie-style bots.

Interesting. Would be nice, imo, to see Soundwave get another reissue, and if need be as a Target exclusive of some sort. Yeah, a new mold would be awesome, but I'd settle for a reissue that I would hopefully be able to find.

-Energon Scorponok in G1 colors
-Punch/Counterpunch
-Trailbreaker
-Shockwave from Onslaught
-Devcon from Cyclonus

Universe's initial idea was "realistic altmodes while the movie line isn't running", so it's no surprise it'll take a break during ROTF. I very much doubt it'll be gone for good.

While I can pretty much imagine most of those happening, I'm having a hard time trying to imagine the Onslaught mold as Shockwave. Would at least need a new head, if not a new hand as well.
