Or taking their business to factories that might charge more but have lower error rates.

That, along with the other things Kickback said make perfect sense. Though I think the & in between the Q and the A was the source of the confusion.

That's just dumb.
Nobody else read that and thought it might be because said characters would end up getting MORE screen time in Season 3? And lame as it was, the Constructicons did sorta get their own "death scene" in the same vein as Swindle, Soundwave, Wreck-Gar, Omega Supreme, etc. That could very well mean they'll be out of the spotlight for a while but return later, and finally with toys to accompany them.

Well it could also be that crazy thing Hasbro some times develops of oh we did that in another line so we don't have to do those characters now. Sort of like how Classics fans would like to have an updated Blitzwing but since there is Animated Blitzwing no update for Classics. Or we have Ironhide in the Movie and Classics line up so that somehow keeps the Animated fans from getting the Animated version of him.

Maybe with Movie Constructicons that means the Animated ones are getting the shaft which is too darn bad because the looks and likely the characters are going to be so different it really begs to do both. And Robot Heroes Constructicons for Animated, Movie, and G1, but I'm a crazy dreamer that way.

QA? Sorry, but I haven't noticed any increase in Quality. Still loose limbs, poor painting, plastic errors, etc. First get to a "lego" QA standard, then charge for it...

And the Constructicons are a must. They had enough airtime.

Never thought i'd be thankful to Wal-Mart for something...

Given how recently they changed the price, I doubt you'll see any real changes for a while, given the big delay between things happening at the top to things happening at the factory to the toys actually showing up in our hands.

You're forgetting the key word, "yet". Having a figure in one line doesn't mean there won't be one in the other; it simply means that Hasbro (or indeed retailers) don't want to put two very similar figs on the shelves at the same time. Hence why Universe Ratchet isn't coming out for a while - but we do know it's coming soon.

that's a really interesting point. I really hope more kids start liking the Classics/Universe toys then.
