I have been keeping quiet on this since seeing it posted earlier but the anger has to come out at some point and this seems like as good a place as any.
What the bloody hell do Hasbro UK think they are doing?
If this is true, and without official word on the rumour being forthcoming we can only assume it is, it would be a massive mistake.
Sure, the show has been shown on such a small scale channel that it hasn't had the exposure it should. And yes, neither the show nor the figures have been promoted very well, but surely the potential is there to fix that now, before considering cancellation?
For me, the animated show and figures are the best thing to happen to transformers since
G1 was cancelled back in the day. It is the only line I have actively sought and I hoped to continue doing so until I had the entire line. Sadly this looks like it may be near impossible to walk into a local store and pick up a figure soon.
Maybe in future they should think about showing their shows on the internet instead of television as most young people are more likely to be online than watching TV these days. Its ironic that I can watch BBC3 shows on my mobile phone in the UK, but I do not have the ability to watch animated on TV and instead have to watch it on youtube.
Hasbro UK... you have failed once again.
