no surprise there , UK TV channels are pretty messed up as far i can remember .

there is always always the INTERNET , watch the cartoon and buy your toys from there .

We just got Waves 1 and 2 in Serbia a couple of weeks ago... but I'm not sure how well they're selling. No sign of the cartoon.

It sucks as it'll lower TF coverage overall. I have no great love for the Animated figures (though I had hoped to snag a Black Arachnia) but I do wonder how sales for Animated compare to Universe/Classics. Anyone have those figures?

And yes, burying the show on Nick was a recipe for disaster. It needs space on terrestrial or it dies.

I did enjoy the series, and the nods to the G1 characters were fun and much appreciated, but I can't help but feel what the franchise really needs is a Batman Animated style reboot of the franchise - a little edgier, with some mature themes and the original cast - they were so well written that anything else just seems like a pale imitation. Kids latch on to the more adult shows, so maybe it would work.

But I don't work in the toy industry, so what do I know?

Speaking as a UK fan, i'll tell you why i never bought any animated figures. Because i got so sick of WAITING for them to be released, and went to e-bay and various American retailers to start collecting way back in the first half of the year. I think thats why animated has'nt cleared shelves from a fan point of view, because we all got bloody tired of waiting for them to be released and shopped online . I'll tell you what shopping for transformers consists of for me right now...

1. Enter toy shop.

2. Look for animated grimlock or sentinel prime.

3. Find neither.

4. Leave.

Hasbro UK really needs to launch its lines sooner i think. What with the internet having cheap toys, the only reason we'd ever buy from a store is not wanting to wait a couple of days. Even the youngest fan can work the 'net, and ask their parents to buy them a figure online. The parents would likely see its a bargain and agree. But anyway, i've rambled on. Point is this...Bring the toys out SOONER!

Wow . Your telling me that a trilogy of what is basically the same movie three times in a row was better than Transformers.

Ok I will break down the three Terrible Spider-Man movies. First movie he gains his powers does amazing things and reconsiders being Spider-Man when loved ones are threatened and learns that with Great Power comes great Responsibility.

Second movie still doing amazing things, loses powers reconsiders being Spider-Man and realizes his loved one will always be threatened. Oh yeah With great power comes...you know the rest.

Third movie still doing amazing things that aren't so amazing anymore, gets a suit that gives him super duper powers. Pushing everyone he loves away because he is now EMO. Does a really unnecessary dance sequence and loses his super duper powers and learns that all you have are you loved ones and with great power come Blah blah blah.

If your smart enough to look deeper you will realize that the Spidey movies are just the same scenario over and over again a with different villain.

So give me masturbating, urinating robot jokes any day as opposed to rehashing due to the Spider-Man movie franchise being Marvel/Sony's bitch. And basically saying they can just slap the name on poo and you will eat it like a steak.

Well the problem with this caartoon as with the other series of TF, they don't have any staying power. Its like they are designed for a short life and thats what they except. Soon after this series demise, we'll see another incartation that will die off in a year or so. It's sad that thats what they except.

This subject line needs to be clarified--it's the toy line that's in jeopardy in the UK, not the TV series.

...and thus avoid potential rumors that the series is in danger of being canceled, if you know what I mean.
