You're welcome Johnator!
Yes! Watchmen. I'm not a big comic reader but I don't think I've ever had this much fun with a book.*
(I know that's disappointingly low-brow for our thread hijacking but it really is a pretty blinding read and exercise in formalism. Neither 'No Country...' or Upton Sinclair's 'Oil!' (from which TWBB is adapted) are on the Time magazine All Time 100 greatest novels. Watchmen is.)

On topic: Hooray! All is saved, ring the bells, etc.
Thanks, sincerely, Red Leader and TF@TM for keeping us updated, even if it did turn out to be more inconvenience than disaster.

Can us Animated fans now use this thread to crow that TFA is liked, selling, and rolling along (with a fortnight's hiatus) despite what some less-sporting posters want to believe?

Woop to TT's gifs.

I've been assured that word will be passed down the line to all accounts, so hopefully wholesalers and independant retailers will start to get some reassurances from Hasbro. Hopefully they will also look into where the information chain broke down.

Good call d00d; one of the best movies I've seen in ages.

Oh and I was oblivious to FIVE showing Beast Machines.. why'd no one mention it as a news item ?
I may have done when I first noticed it, they had Beast Wars as well first if I remember rightly.

Batman had a toyline, but that was incidental. The cartoon wasn't there to advertise the toys, the toys are there to cash in on interest for the cartoon.

Any Transformers cartoon, however, is by definition designed largely as a marketing tool for the toys.

Oh, and RIRFIB. Some of us remember the toys.

Maybe if the Transformers actually Transformed more often .. less appearances in their Alt modes - but sucks to be U.K.

You'll just have to see it on DVD or something

Alternatively, you could have read the thread.

Mindblowing, I know, but try it. Even the thread title is a massive clue.
