I still havent seen any animated toys besides wave one in toys are us and argos in my area. Only in specialist toy shops that inport from america and sell the toys £5 or more more expensive than they would be mainstream in uk retailers.
My collection:

Really? I picked up Oil Slick from Argos last week, and Snarl a couple of weeks ago.

The perfect haiku would have just two syllables: Airwolf.

Although I've complained bitterly in the process, I personally have found every Animated toy released in the UK thus far in TRU, Tescos and Smyths. Except for Grimlock, who I gave up on and bought from Play.Com this week.

Then found in Tescos tonight with their sale on.

Fuck.

So Animated isn't canceled, just delayed a little. That is good news. It would have really sucked for you guys and gals if the line was canceled.

OK I just had to quote myself first.

As for the rest please refer to Twin Twist's post. If you don't like it that is fine but please respect those that do. Show no respect, get no respect.

I don't have a problem with you not liking Animated. When I first say the designs I hated them too. The problem I have is that you came into a thread that was obviously going to make a lot of people sad and just say to hell with Animated without even saying that you felt bad for those that do. If you had said you felt bad I would have included you in there with Johnator. If you do feel sorry for those that are losing a line they like, which I think you were saying in this quote if I'm not wrong, then please say so because we can only assume with some of the posts you posted that you don't care at all.

No problem. After some of the posts made in this thread reading yours was a pleasure. You put your feelings for the line aside to offer your fellow Transformers fans a sympathetic ear, or eye in this case, and that is always a welcome sight.

Gone but never forgotten. Farewell Transformers: Animated.

Hasbro chose the VAs now? One day you'll post something that isn't complete B.S. Clearly it's not going to happen anytime soon.

AIUI, the BBC refuse to buy the rights to any cartoon that's connected with a toyline. What the BBC show that does have a toyline generally does so because the BBC were responsible for it in the first place.

Bugger it with a spoon.

Several points:
1) As a cross-section of TF fans, and UK TF fans, most (not all) UK members of TFW2005.com seem to be in favour of TFA. Almost disproportionately and childishly, giddily so. We enjoyed it.

2) Therefore, if you don't like TFA please don't carp here - me, doomboy, Red Leader, Locus, etc, are angered and disappointed.

We Don't Get The Toys We Want And It Reminds Us Of The Bad Christmas.

We're all TF fans here, just console those who are disappointed with a little bit of 'external' news, not just swapping opinion. (Thanks, Johnator, that's a lesson in magnanimity that the internet should learn from you.)

You hear me, Hasbro UK? Brent Cross. That's where I went for you.
Thanks! IronicHide it's good you're on here. Long time no see. Read any good books lately? I just bought There Will Be Blood on Blu-Ray.

The BBC were showing "The Batman" and that had a toyline.

Oh and I was oblivious to FIVE showing Beast Machines.. why'd no one mention it as a news item ?
