Recently, GM has stated that the blue Chevy Volt was NOT a Transformers. However, today this picture from the Transformers Live Blogspot makes me think otherwise somehow. Who could it be then? I really think the Volt is a Transformer after all. The car is just too big of a name and beautiful to not be a Transformers, don't you agree? Edit: Nevermore, thanks. Ofcourse I meant GM. |

Second, the Volt must be a Transformer; it's been in enough scenes with the other Autobots. The only other option would be it being just the car that some of the human characters drive around in, instead of Bumblebee or something. I personally think it's a TF, and who knows, maybe they're calling that one Sunstreaker if the Corvette is Sideswipe. Black Prime...Black Soundwave...Black Incinerator...Black Taco |

InsideLine claimed they had a source say it was only being filmed for 2 days, and they wrote it in such a fashion that it made it seem like GM said it, but never once did they quote the GM exec as saying that. All the GM exec said was he didn't know what the name of the Transformer would be.
It's most likely a Transformer, too big a deal for GM for it not to be, and too many cool weapon possibilities with him being an electric car...
Looks like Inside Line should stick to old car news. |

To be honest this latest report made it look like they just brought the cars along so the servicemen/women could get their pictures taken with them. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it's there just for good PR. |

It really is a mystery as to what his true color is.
Anyways, even if he dies like five minutes in, I at least hope he has a line or two in robot mode. Ratchet was awesome in the first film.

Until you find out where my collection is News Credits: 4 | The best part of this is that Ratchet will get some screen time, but so far he has been in two shootings, which would probably make up only one scene in the movie. I always thought the Volt would end up being a transformer, if it wasn't, then it has no relevance to the story.
If he is a transformer, who could he be? Skids pops up in my mind, although I don't find that probable. |

I mean not making Sidswipe red, that's pushing it as it is. But a Blue Sunstreaker? I don;t know what, it's just making me chuckle. |
