You know the Transformers franchise is doing well when even the worst cartoon series gets a full-series DVD release.

I was hoping this would happen. Now I'll get to see the chapter of Transformers between Armada and Cybertron.

Now, if only Hasbro could buy back the rights to RID so we could get that released in the States. Such a fun series to watch, I'd love to get it on DVD.

As much as Energon is my least favorite TF series, I will STILL buy it to support whole set releases. NOW WHERE IS MY RID SET IN REGION 1!!!

I really hope this means that Transformers RID will be on its way shortly after.

My guess is, after the Energon set is on sale, they will announce the Armada slimpack edition... followed by the Ultimate Unicron Trilogy Box Set of all three, Armada, Energon, Cybertron with Robot Heroes Unicron and Armada Galvatron figure pack in.

I never really liked the Unicron Trilogy, except for Armada (don't hurt me), The CG 'formers never really felt right to me, and mixing it with 2D like they did in Energon, it was just messy...
I'll just wait for the Armada collection

I'm on this series for the dump trucks driving in space, not to mention the yodeling! :p  Bought!
I'm with Mospeada here. I'm not springing for RiD, Headmasters, Masterforce or Victory unless they are playable on Region One DVD players. I thought some of them were, but not all. Does anyone know for sure? I STILL have yet to see Headmasters with english subtitles.

Well... I have both Armada boxsets and the Cybertron set... sooooo... I guess I'll get this and suffer through it again. Honestly... they all had some really horrid moments in them... it's just that this one had far more than the other two...

Metrodome's and Madman's Headmasters sets both have English subtitles and are region 0, so will play in North America.

Varying reports also say that the RID sets from the UK are also region free, but I can't confirm this right now.

Hopefully the Disney crossovers were done as a concession for the RiD rights.

Agreed! Robots in Disguise was the most fun TF anime dub and it DEMANDS to be released in Region 1 if shows like Armada and Energon can get full DVD sets.

I excluded Cybertron because it was a fun dub and very enjoyable, but in no way can it compare to RID. Too much Burning Justice and some minor errors here and there, but much, MUCH better than its predecessors.

The Headmaster, Victory, and Masterforce dubs are hillarious for reasons that don't even need to be repeated.

    "Darn that fool, Soundwave. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWN!"

Waiting for the Cybertron Disc One replacement before ordering Energon. Has anyone else received the Cybertron replacement disc? Please release RID series!
