It's... not that great actually. The Bot mode is average. The legs/feet are horrible, and the back kibble is bad.

the side of the car, behind the doors in ALT mode is pretty weak, with a lot of parts that don't seem to fit neatly.

I'm not canceling my preorder yet, but I'm thinking about it. 50$ for that is too much money.

I'm kinda in agreement. It's certainly got some clever engineering, but i'm just not that enthralled with it, especially for a $50 deluxe.

I do like the 'movie-meets-alternators aesthetic' though, that's actually what the movie bots would have looked like in my perfect world. A little less "insectoid/simian" and a little more "transformer".
