i very much doubt that long term durability was a deciding factor on this look, it does however have that effect in practice. unfortunately it means the toy looks kind of crappy to begin with and stays that way, at least chromed parts (on toys that look good chromed) looked good to begin with.

and yeah no improvements over the original mold. if i was to get this one all i would do is put the other arm shieldy thing on his other hand cos i dont feel like playing dig out the plastic out of the back of the hand game.

I'm assuming you mean the cross sell pic on the back of Blazing Lockdown's card. No, we first saw stock pics of Swindle's alt and bot modes from a slide at SDCC. Yes, he does look awesome.

Do not like. The Lockdown mold is nice, but not nearly as nice as Habro makes it out to be. Whats with all those repaints?

I hope Swindle shows up soon. Thats a figure i can get behind.
