Where do the pinks fit in? Seems like we're pretty far into red territory there. We're analogous-ing 3/4 of the way around the color wheel.
The Universe 1.0/TCC color scheme isn't definitively more "crazy" than the original. Yellow and purple are complementary colors, while yellow and orange are analogous colors. There are many instances -- in TFs and otherwise -- of both types of pairings being used in the same color scheme. The white and black provide additional achromatic contrast. And FWIW, I don't really see any "blue", just a somewhat cool gray.

The color wheel harmonies have had limited practical application, simply because the impact of the color combinations is quite different, depending on the colors involved: the contrast between the complementary colors purple and green is much less strident than the contrast between red and turquoise. They can suggest useful color combinations in fashion or interior design, but much also depends on the tastes, lifestyle and cultural norms of the consumer.

You don't like the new color scheme, that's fine. Just say so. No need to try to find an objective basis for your preference.

So If you live outside the USA it will be about $270. |
Those membership fees get you more than just the Seacons. And I'd be surprised if shipping to anywhere would be as high as $61.
