Hopefully the other stuff will get done. "Burn your tongue; Your a liar because someone disagrees with you," |

The guy from the crew I talked to was pretty po'ed that they were out of work for 4 weeks. No pay during that time for them. And it's not like they can go just pick up 3-4 weeks worth of work on no notice. Also, they are expected to return at a moments notice.
Silver lining is that everyone gets a break from getting yelled at by Bay! |

Collection Count: 43 (counting Mini-cons) Latest figure: Cybertron Galvatron | That's bullshit, can't they just make a few re-writes to suit the story a little better? Can't they just do WITHOUT Shia being in the sequel for a bit? I want to see more giant alien robots, who really gives two craps about the humans already?
But no, due to this stupid decision, this could influence the release date of the actual TF2 trailer, possibly even the release of the movie itself. |

However, I think it's one thing to plan for a break (strike), then have a break unexpectedly need to be taken (injury).
That said, since it is a "principal" character, if he can't move his hand, he can't do much. There's probably only so much babying/taking it easy he can do on an action flick.
As for Jackie - he's also since said that he knows he will pay for the many broken bones he's gotten over the years; and for Viggo - didn't know that; but depending on what point they were at for filming, it's possible he didn't have to do much except talk while his foot healed, as well as the 2nd (+) units film other "main" characters. I agree, but the were ready to be off for the strike without it changing the release date. And that could have gone for months like the WGA strike did.
The strike would have stopped ALL filming for however long.
At least this injury only delays scenes that include Sam.
Second Unit and First Unit NEST scenes should be unaffected. |
