See, in the first movie, Volkswagen refused to allow the New Beetle to be used as Bumblebee because the 2007 movie had violence or whatever nonsense excuse they had. So no VW's were used other than an old, beat-up one for a punching bag.
Bear with me here...
VW owns, designs, and builds Audi's. And yet, they allow for the A8 to be used? Why the change of tune? Did they suddenly realize that Transformers is a huge blockbuster and they missed out on it the first time, and now they want in?
Anyhow, the R8 looks sweet, as do ALL the Transformers vehicles that we have seen.  Nice find. | |
