I hate Grimlock's arms. Totally ruins it for me. As another member mentioned, if they took off the flames and spoiler I may have liked the Wildrider repaint. But it's just a gray Hotrod. Very boring.

 

Personally, I'd like to see "Nemesis Rodimus" released here as an exclusive. *dodges bullets*

Is it just me or did anyone NOT notice that TakaTom's using Rodimus "head" on the packaging? I thought we were shown a NEW head sculpt before? Do correct me if I'm wrong..

I believe the product card at SDCC said 8/15. Don't forget they are TRU exclusives!

Of course they could show up a little bit earlier or later than that.

 

Why do War Within Grimlock and Megs alt forms look like crap? Who is responsible for this garbage? Wild rider is kinda nice looking.

 

I seem to recal that when TiT was cancelled many people where complaining about that. Now that some might get the chance to grab the few molds, you still complain?

 

Here's a guess: the people who complained about Titanium being cancelled aren't the ones complaining about Tits Grimlock.

 

Surprised by the enthusiasm for Wildrider, i think he looks terrible.
The Rodimus design is so iconic it just doesn't work for a repaint to me, especially as a 'con...

 

But the transformation scheme is a bit different. Instead of having the lower leg pushed up covering the upper legs (I think that's what you do although these pics show the legs still extended), the legs in the comics show the lower legs flipped at the knees to cover the upper legs. This way, the toes end up near the front instead of the toes being in the rear in alt mode. Also, the chest is more angled down in the comics. Here the chest is pointed straight forward. This transformation scheme seems more simplified than the one designed by Don Figueroa.

 

I have to get Tit Grimlock since its my favorite version of the character but I bet the toy will be lacking like most of the Titaniums were.  

 

I'm a bit disappointed in Titanium Grimlock. His vehicle mode doesn't seem very menacing. It needs to be bulkier. I'll still get him (as long as I can find him).

 

I'm dissapointed in the repaint of Hot Rod. Yah I know what a surprise. But I'd rather they came out with Drift in a deluxe mode and some newer molds for the Universe line but I know that will never happen because they don't have any intention of doing so. Oh well I can dream.

 

No new head I'm afraid. Just Rodimus in gray with a red face.

Anyone know how they will be releasing WW Grimlock and Prowl? I thought that they only did a limited run of these two, will it be a Target exclusive, online, etc?

 

TRU exclusives. Personally I'm hoping that the two repaints depicted on the back of their boxes also see release. If not they should be changed so that they don't show a product we'll never have the chance to own. A simple sticker would do the job.

 

I just noticed. Why Doesn't Grimlock's stand have his name on it?

 

The stand in these pictures is probably just a stand-in for the sake of pictures. Looking at pictures take at SDCC, him and Prowl will have their names on their stands.

 

Ah, that's probably true. I should've thought of that, but I'm tired. hehe.


Speaking of Titaniums, I just saw a pic of War Within Prowl in package. He looks cool, but aren't his rockets supposed to be closer to his body, rather than 10 feet off his body? Hmm.
