Anyone remember how Takara wanted to release Alternators Decepticharge as Binaltech "Wildrider", but couldn't because of trademark problems?

Well, this thing is officially called "Stuntron Wildrider". Second Takara release with a "faction"/"sub-group" prefix after Transformers Collection reissue "Cybertron Perceptor".

So it's not just Hasbro anymore that's slapping "Autobot" and "Decepticon" prefixes before every other G1 name these days...

Bwa? I missed the Wildrider news. Must have! One down, four to go.

and remember kids, Wildrider is not designed to look like his G1 form - this is more Takara's version of Shattered Glass Rodimus with a different character attached to it.

I love my G1 Ultra Magnus Titanium, and I'll love Grimlock too!

Granted he still has the flames of Hot Rod, but the gray car mode (not black) with red windows and a red robot face scream Wildrider.

I'm really glad Wildrider is gray and not black.

Motto; The name's Wildrider, and I'm up for anything!!

To counter Cybertron's ground force, Destron was attempting to gather their own car robot army.
They had forcedly taken several earth Super-cars made of extremely strong alloy, and using those as a base, created 5 new powerful warriors. Their name was Stuntrons! True to their nickname, " Super heavy weight smashers", on the road they boast the destructive power unmatched by anyone.
Now, one of the Stuntrons, Wildrider, who specialises in rough combat, launches his single-handed attack on Cybertron base! Roaring his engine he runs through the enemy base. His speed is (can't make out the print).
"Take a damn good look at me, you Cybertrons! I'll teach you how to roll!!"
Skilfully avoiding the attack from Cybertrons, he reaches the core of the base and transforms into Robot mode, and without wasting a moment he aims his gun at the computer Teletraan 1, the brain of the base.

Don't like the flames. Is it really that hard to take them off? I mean, obviously the price is going to be higher because it's an exclusive, at least take the flames off so people have another reason to spend the money.

I would've also liked the center portion of his hood to reflect the G1 toys sticker, that carbon fiber hood look.

But it's an exclusive, and I'm a sucker for those. To preorder....or not to preorder...

when is grimlock slated for release in the states?
i read next month, but when precisely?
reason I ask is because I've kept up with the Titaniums line and have all except for the blasted G1 ultra magnus and WW megs and the SDCC menasor... I was never able to find them because I wasn't on point with these, and I don't want that to happen again. So I need to get Grimmy and Prowl before I end up having to pay eBay prices like I eventually will for the others... and they're NOT cheap - pisses me off just a bit.

Yup. As I said before, they should've found some way for the legs to shift out, and then telescope in to align with the front treads in tank mode. It was same problem with War Within Megs.
