I have no plans to buy them, though. Would be cool to see Hasbro reissue the set in the 25th Ann. line, though there are a couple combiners I'd rather see get that treatment, or even better, new molds, than I would like to see these guys. However, Hasbro was not attempting a wide release when these versions were first created. They were shopping this out as an Energon or Universe store exclusive in the first place, not as a general release item. They also had a buyer lined up who backed out (Wal-Mart). The situation is rather different from a general release, and it's unlikely they would use it to judge the potential of a mass reissue in the original colors.

I am not sure how marketable are the G1 Seacons for a mass release or how it would fit in their lines.

I am trying to say that by this statement, G2 Motormaster that I got came from a recent inspection which proves that the Stunticons' Molds are also usable as well.

That is awesome news! I hope that TakaraTomy is planning on an Encore Menasor set as he was one of the top 4 figures that Japanese readers of a Japanese magazine wanted reissued (this was a few years ago, Superion, Menasor, Scourge, and Skywarp were the top 4).
