TFW2005 SDCC 2008 Transformers Booth Coverage

Tony Bacala just called in with a description of what he sees i nthe Hasbro Booth for Tranasformers. Here is a quick breakdown.

Pictures:
SDCC Hasbro Transformers Display

Diamond Select Images

Marvel & Star Wars Crossover Images


Transformers Universe
All current releases present. Everything that has officially been seen before is there. No Hound or Cyclonus present yet. 25th G1 Prime is there in and out of package.

Titaniums
War Within Grimlock and Prowl are present in and out of package.

Mighty Muggs
Optimus Prime is the only Transformers Might Mugg there. they have some G.I. Joe Mighty Muggs including Snakeyes, Cobra Commander and Storm Shadow.

Marvel Transformers
Silver with blue highlights Hulk tank. Black Spider-Man motorcycle. All others have been officialy seen

Transformers Animated

Bumper Battlers
New Bumper Battlers include a shiny silver Jazz similar to Movie Jazz, and Optimus Prime repaint that is vaguely similar to Sentinel Prime, A Bumblebee that was described as "electrical-looking".

Activators
Grimlock (described as awesome), Earth Mode Megatron and Patrol Bumblebee are all present.

General Animated Releases
Snarl is there in and out of package, Swoop is there out of package. Rollout Command Optimus Prime is for sale at Hasbro Booth. Nothing else new yet.

Non-TF
Hasbro Signature Series is shown. First releases are the Star Wars Force FX Lightsabers. Identical in design to Master Replica releases. No Master Replica logo on box, replaced with Hasbro logo.

Sounds cool. When I saw the title of the thread, I wasn't actually expecting anything new. I don't really expect to see much of interest till Saturday during the panel. I was actually kinda hoping for an Activators Grimlock, it's awesome that they're actually making him. Can't wait to see pictures. The one hope I have for TF Mighty Muggs, is that they make a Grimlock one. Wouldn't really be that hard. The only addition they would need to make to the normal body shape would be his ears, and maybe his sword. His "wings" would be nice, but I'd be happy enough with just the ears and a nice paint job.

They almost always put new figures out after the panel. So expect some new stuff this weekend.
