It can be theorized that the constant knife-edge pressure has gradually gotten to Punch, and that part of him has been lost, possibly irredeemably.

Though I wish the flames had been left off (man, same mistake as SDCC Menasor... trying to pass Rodimus off as a Stunticon while leaving on his most iconic, Rodimus-y feature). Hopefully some of the online stores will get these a stock of these for Stateside folks.
Alternity Convoy looks solid, but I don't know if he's become a must-buy yet. He feels cool and yet... boring. I dunno, maybe just because he's Convoy. Or because there is so much other cool stuff on the horizon. |

Not saying I like the flames on him but the light blue just doesn't do it for me. Botcon Rodimus, with the mustache, looks so much better. Very blah to me.
Plus 3000yen - wasn't the Takara Thundercracker supposed to be around that price (3000-4000 yen) and ultimately we're paying about $70 for him? About the same price as Botcon Rodimus if you got him at the show.
still wondering about FP reaction to all this. First Thundercracker and a _very_ similar SG Rodimus |
