Hasbro Press Release for SDCC 2008 Suggests 25th Annivesary Sneak-Peak

The first thing I want to know this Saturday is if we are getting seasons 3+ for animated and when we are getting them.

Animated season 3 is done and starts in fall
Animated Shockwave shown with full disguise mode
Animated Omega Supreme confirmed/denied once and for all
25th figurers line features massive new Metroplex with bb guns
partnership announed with Mattel/WB to allow for Transformers crossovers Tumbler/Burton mobiles to be made
Aaron Archer rips off his skin to reveal that he is in fact, Optimus Prime!

And that'd make it the best show ever.

I hope to see some TFW2005 folkins up in SDCC! I leave tomorrow... aah... first real comic convention :O!!

AND TO THAT I intended to add that I can't wait to see what's going to be shown by Hasbro... I'm seriously wanting to see what Cyclonus and Hot Shot will look like!

I am hoping we get to see the toys shown at the Botcon panel slideshow, and new toys that were previously unannounced. I hope to see the following:

-Classics/Universe 2.0 God Ginrai/Powermaster Prime, Leader class, kills many birds with one pebble, as it gives us a modernized, fully articulated G1 Prime figure, a trailer, able to combine with the trailer for super mode, throw/shove in God Bomber or something, and a modernized version of the combining super mode Prime that started the armor combining Prime trend finally makes it to the hands of us rampant collectors FTW....

-Season 3 clips of Animated and Jetstorm/Jetfire, as well as more toys/characters previously unannounced

-Armada Prime and Starscream for the 25th line

-IDW F-22 seekers(Ej Su designs) for the 25th/Classics/Universe line

I hope my wishlist above comes true!
I bet he will announce the next Masterpiece as Leader-1, a retool of Masterpiece Starscream in realistic light grey colors with a new head.

Would it be against the rules to ask people who were at the first Hasbro panel to make sketches of what the 25th anniversary toys look like based on their memory?

Botcon was a few months, and even TFcon wasn't that recent, so you'd need someone with a really good memory

While it's not against the rules, as far as I know anyways, I've seen the question asked plenty of times withought anything to show in the end. We'll more than likely see most of what was shown during that panel at SDCC. Until then, we'll all have to be patient, or be lucky enough to find someone who was at the panel who will draw what they can remember for us. Personally, I'll probably just go do something to keep me busy, and my mind off of Transformers as best I can till Saturday.
