QFT. The Megs out of the set is one of my favorite toys and one of my favorite Megatrons. Personally, I LOVE the claw/cannon arm. Aside from the colors [which aren't that bad actually], he's a really great toy.

Prime on the other hand has a pretty decent robot mode, but his vehicle mode just suffers all over the place. He's just odd. Cool [in a way], but odd.

 

THese have been out for a few weeks at my local toy store.

 

I wonder if Megatron's feet will be in the correct position this time.

Thanks KB Toys for getting our hopes up and then shooting it down with your infamous crap-cannon. Seriously, making this an exclusive doesn't mean the figures are automatically good.

 

The problem is that even though Hasbro took the time to engineer them, the
half-assed attempt at Megatron's arm cannon and the even bigger failure of
Optimus's alt mode just makes them barely desirable. I generally carry Optimus in
my pocket, since he's a pretty good representation of his g1 robot mode.
Also, I love his tommy-gun-like weapon, makes him seem kind of like a gangster
so that's cool, too.

Seriously, though, the figures overall just weren't very well designed. I can
understand why some people like them, since they were priced fairly
cheaply, and they aren't entirely horrible, but they aren't awesome enough to
keep up with the rest of the first run of classics figures. I think if they'd done
something to make Megatron a little cooler, the set would rule.

I actually kind of like the figures, I kept my larger classic prime MISB, and use this for display to keep him seperate from Ultra Magnus. With the Magnus Armor Upgrade that may change however.

As for Megatron, I found him to be kind of cool. I would have likely liked him more if he wasn't missing the pin that holds his arm on. So I would like to pick up a complete one of him at some point.

Boring, although I'm kinda glad that it's boring because there are no KB's inside my zone of toy hunting.

 

I'd take Energon, Armada and MW Prime any day of the week before Universe Battle Pack Prime.

You have a point about Go-Bots Prime though.  

I like the Megatron quite a lot, so no hate there. But the only thing bad about Optimus isn't the "truck mode", but also how the waist joint was engineered on the toy. I dare say the only thing good about this Optimus is his Tommy-Gun. IMO, of course.

Trust me this mold is a piece of junk. Truck mode looks horrible, and mine broke two days after purchasing it for 20 bucks at WalMart. Megatron kept falling apart too. Worst molds I ever wasted money on. Even my 7 year old son said his bionicles were better.
