Why does Hasbro even bother producing those crappy renditions of TF, I mean come on, how often do you see any kid or fan busting their ass to actually pick one up? I've seen the same SWTF's at my store for about a year, and nobody's had interest in buying them.

Arent Divebomb, Grindcore, and BigDaddy movie deluxes? It would be interesting to see them re-released in the Universe line, but for some reason I can't imagine it happening. Skywarp sounds interesting. Don't really know what to make of it yet. For some reason I'm getting the feeling it's just the Voyager repaint that we're getting in the Animiated line. Would be cool to see it be a repaint/retool of a new mold homaging Armada Starscream. Could also be something to do with the movie line, though that's least likely atm, imo. As for the Star Wars stuff, I honestly couldn't care less about them. I'm a fan of the movies, but never did get into the toys. Though if I ever had the chance to own one of those little remote control R2-D2's I once saw, I'd get that (could really annoy the dog then, lol).

 

PLEASE PRIMUS LET SKYWARP BE A RE RELEASED CLASSICS ONE!!!!!!!!!!

I think I've posted about Classics Skywarp at least 3 times today.

 

Actually Its most likely Animated Skywarp, he's been confirmed and it doesn't say the series so Its a safe bet

 

My local store, on the other hand, continues to sell out of them at a pace comparable to, if not slightly quicker than, regular TFs.

 

^Same here, they move at a decent rate, Hasbro's revisions have been quick to get rid of peg warmers.


I'm gonna assume Skywarp is Animated Voyager, but I wouldn't mind an Animated Activator or Universe Voyager either, hell, it could be the SDCC one for all we know.

I think Grindcore and company were originally meant for the Universe line like the Breakaway wave of exclusives, but like Hasbro said, Walmart wanted more movie merchandise so they bumped them to that line.

Also, I'm gonna bet that the Anakin Starfighter is a remold of the episode 2 starfighter mold, perhaps with more clone wars styling to coincide with the new movie.

Off topic, but a genuine note of interest: It seems the boards have been reset to remove acronyms automatically, yet R-I-D is a real word.

I wouldn't mind a TF:movie Skywarp based on starscream.

I am not sure how they are gonna dot he starscreams from animated. It is gonna get expensive to get all the repaints of the 20$ mold. If they are going to grow into individual characters, then maybe. If they are gonna be dumb disposable clones (since thundercracker and skywarp gt spacebridge'd away) then activators are cool.
