For those worried about the latest budget news: Quote: Q: Compared to the first, you'd say it's way bigger?
Fox: It's twice the budget, so yeah.
| And regarding how far in the future the movie takes place: Quote: Q: Can you say where this movie picks up for your characters?
Fox: It's two years later, so when it comes out it will be present day. Shia [LaBeouf, who reprises his role as Sam Witwicky] and I have been dating for two years, so it's kind of like old news. There's no big love scenes or anything like that – you kind of get into the couple bickering now. That stage, like the old married couple. That's all I can say!

Fox: Yeah. | It's too bad I'm a homo, because I would totally marry this girl. Quote: Q: Compared to the first, you'd say it's way bigger?

| I'm sure she's just guessing. Orci said that their budget is bigger, but no where near as big as other sequels (Pirates and Spiderman in particular). TF1 was $150 million, and Pirates 2/Spidey 2 were $200-$225 million. I'd say TF: ROTF is around $180 million. |

I'll give you close to $200 million, maybe, but that's it. |
