I think thats what they were going for, so being "slavishly G1" is a great thing. They were spot on.

Its nice, and remarkably accurate to his G1 TV show character. One for the Garage kit gods, and probably a jaw dropper once fully assembled.

Sooooooooooooo perfect. I love everything I've seen of theirs. Shame I'll likely never be able to get them.

They do it the way it should be.

This is the Powerglide I want. Get your shit together Hasbro.

Okay, cheap shot at Hasbro, but Jizaitoys really know how to put them to shame. If only they were more widely available. Can't wait to see how their Ironhide turns out.

That's true, Jizaitoys were showing work in progress on all of these long before the Hasbro versions were announced. It almost seemed suspicious, like Hasbro were getting ideas or something.

Actually if we're going to be pedantic it was just called "Transformers". The "Generation 1" tag wasn't officially added until a few years ago.

I always like the look of these but think that they also look a bit fragile. Either way I can't afford them and will stick with Universe Classics Series.

I swapped it with Megamus for a shattered glass prime.

These figures look nice but unless you have kitbash or model skills they are useless, I had the assembled and painted version and it was like a floppy rag doll and the pins that hold the limbs on can break in an instance.

Nice if you have the time but dont be fooled by the pretty pictures.

It looks great, but it's an obvious "collectible" and I'm more about the "toys" myself. If I'm gonna spend that much on something that fragile, it kind of ruins the fun of being able to transform it.

I'll stick with Henkai Powerglide, he's G1 enough for me

Agreed. I can totally tell by the way people are drooling over these that have never actually OWNED a JizaiToy product.
They LOOK good but thats it. Period.
They are poorly engineered at best, floppy yes. Try keeping one transformed in either mode without it falling apart.

I own Cyclonus and Wheelie, both are nowhere near the quality of an actual Hasbro/Takara TF. They need some MAJOR design tweaking to even get them to that level.

If you want just a very expensive, not very poseable without falling apart(I suppose you could glue the joints solid to hold a pose), show piece than these are for you. Otherwise skip it.

I cant believe people are saying this is how hasbro should make their toys.

they would break. always. children could not touch them. the average collector would shatter them during transformation.

hasbro making toys like this would be the stupidest thing the company could ever do.

fine as a curiosity item, failure as a toy. which is fine, this isnt meant to be a toy.
