Hummers are awesome, I say if you have the money go for it. | Sorry, I'll add some caveats to my original statement: "Globally recognised" by the majority of meteorological scientists, the CEO of Shell (in who's interests it is not to recognise it BTW) and by various environmental groups and aid agencies who are starting to see the physical proof. NOT "globally recognised" by some Murdoch-led news outlets or by many politicians in who's financial interests it sits not to recognise it. Hell, up until about a year ago even Bush was saying that it wasn't an issue and even he has been forced to change his tune because of growing unequivocal evidence.
Climate change is NOT an issue that many scientists currently debate (though there is some debate on exactly HOW BAD things are going to get) and yet your average Fox News viewer somehow thinks they know better. Stupid Fox News.
I won’t say that some opportunist government ideas haven’t come from it (a recent green tax in the UK on people who own older cars falls under that) but that in no way disproves that the issue is real. |

And now they might even go smaller with the HX/H4. Its really pathetic. GM even talked about selling the brand off. Who would want to attach their name to such a failure? |

That is totally uncalled for and will not be tolerated.

Even if climate change doesn't convince you, I don't see much getting around the reality of peak oil. We're burning through the inheritance of hundreds of millions of years in little over a century. It's delusional to think there's somehow an infinite supply.
Oil is great stuff, and we shouldn't squander it.

With it's matte paintjob, the Hummer in the pictures feels like a potential Decepticon to me. If it weren't for the previous movie toyline and videogame character, I'd say it might make a decent Swindle. |

There are many characters it could be, if the vehicle will be featured in the film. |
