Kay, I really hope that ice cream truck news is bullshit. The only way I could see them pulling it off without people walking out of the theater is if it's a result of some Allspark power like the Mountain Dew bot was.

I'm more curious about this Audi news we keep hearing. I thought VW was dead against having their vehicles used in anything related to war and whatnot.

 

I could definetly be wrong, but I'm getting the feeling that the crew member was messing with him. If true, it sounds interesting. Two Autobots combining to form an ice-cream truck would actually be kinda interesting to see on the big screen, and also in toy form. I would probably get it just because of the goofiness of it. The Audi is probably just a car appearance, and not an alt-mode for a TF. Kinda like the VW Beetle in the first movie. The red Acura would be a cool alt-mode for Wheeljack, but for some reason I have a feeling it won't be, that and white would have been better for Wheeljack.

 

Here's what a Red Acura looks like. That's so Hot Rod that it hurts.

Here's an Audi. Uhh, beats me. Could be any Autobot.

I'll believe what I hear once I see actual photos/CGI/sketch concepts.

However, at the moment, the Chinese ice cream truck turning into twins sounds like robotic versions of Siamese twins/Chang & Eng. Kinda lame IMO if not executed properly.

Plus, it'd make a better con than bot.

 

Watch these rumors guys...I just got back from my third night in Bethlehem, and had a very similar experience with a crew member (Paramount Pictures truck driver), and got very different stories.

Hisstank.com board member Maximus and I bumped into this crew member/teamster that was showing off some pictures in his iPhone to a couple on the side of the road. At this point in time, screams could be heard from all around...one side was getting a visit from Michael Bay, and the louder side was with Tyrese. (I decided to hear the trucker out, once I saw some of the pics of where he was with the soldiers doing their shoot tonight)

I'm not trying to discredit anyone...but some of these rumors just don't make sense...

The vehicles are entirely possible...a red Acura NSX would be incredible, as I drive an Acura myself (although not an NSX)...but isn't the NSX discontinued?

The Audi is possible, although I haven't seen it...but it has popped up in rumors across the board...but no visual evidence.

Chinese Ice Cream truck is already confirmed...I posted the pics myself.

I was also told that shooting would not continue through Thursday because they have to be in Washington DC tomorrow where shooting will continue. Many items at Bethlehem Steel will remain, and it will take weeks for them to return it to normal though...but Bay and crew are on a deadline, and are leaving for Washington to meet Shia and Megan, who are NOT in Bethlehem.

Filming will then continue in Philadelphia for two weeks, (which makes sense since we just had a casting call) and after that in Los Angeles and New Mexico.

Of course...I wouldn't trust anybody at this point...but the trucker makes more sense to me.

 

Im gonna go out on a Limb and say the Acura is Sideswipe.

 

Totally intrigued by I-SCREAM-BOT... the fact that it's an old, dirty, maybe rusty vehicle could really give it that creepy-clown vibe. I hope if it doesn't turn out to be an actual TF in the film it at least gets the toy treatment (like Stockade, Incinerator, etc.)

 

i just talked to my nephew. his friend works security as well and was with him when i called.

his friend also claims to have seen the acura nsx on the set... it's red and black. it's not an older one, it's the new one that's coming out. personally, i would like my nephew to tell me he's seen it himself. if my nephew says it's there, i believe him. so i'm going to cautiously add the NSX to the list of "seen" cars along with the Vettes and R8 and i'll see what he can find out tonight. (neither have seen an RS6, but it's entirely possible considering the R8)
