too much speculation. realize, this is an opening scene, and realize almost every Bay movie doesn't have epic battle scenes or any real action until ¾ the way through the movie.

I don't understand how Prime is there though, since when can autobots fly? how did prime get from California to China? I predict however, that there is a recon where this new "S7" military works w/ the autobots, and stumble upon Prowl in China. Again...how Prime is there...i have no idea.

Highly doubt there will be any Autobot/Decepticon battles unless it's a 1-on-1 with Prowl and the Apache Copter....

if they are going to stay with decepticons being the milatary vehicles, then i can the hummer being soundwave. Im also going on the assumption that it is a transformer becuase its a concept vehicle, and for some reason i kepp thinking i read somewhere that they were going to be using more concept vehicles for the alt modes

 

Do not question the autobots' ability to travel.
They can travel from the western US to the geological center of Africa in under two earth hours. Without using Jetfire.

It would be nice if it was Swindle but since its a GM vehicle , it will probably be an Autobot .

I think we may have found Soundwave, people. Just outfit it with some speakers and few henchmen, and that's him. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go find a spare Movie Ratchet and some paint.

 

You ask me, that Ice Cream Truck Looks a LOT like the one from Twisted Metal. They don't have many trucks that either a.) look like that, b.) are in that condition or c.) still work (ie light up) I'd say keep your eyes peeled that that ICT doesn't show up elsewhere.

Why is everyone thinking this is the opening scene? Movies don't always shoot in scene order, they shoot based on set availability. I think this is a scene that will be shown later on in the film.

 

I thought it was reported that the opening scene was going to be shot in PA.

 

The smokestacks on the Optimus truck look like they are curved back at the top.

The Apache has to be a transformer, cause I would say that an Apache wouldn't be flying solo like that, especially with two Blackhawks on its tail. Vortex, perhaps?

A helicopter doesn't fit Soundwave. His alternate form needs to have something to do with sound communications, like the FBI van that's been mentioned before.
