I recall one of the military guys here (I think somebody serving at a US base in Japan) complaining about the absurdity of the SOCCENT base surrounding Blackout with soldiers and vehicles equipped with small arms given they would have little effect on the MH-53's armour.

I wonder if he realized that they were expecting a hostile human crew who would need to exit the unarmed craft to attack. They weren't anticipating the need to attack the transport helicopter itself.

Morshower is frequently cast as military/police/agent type characters in films and tv shows. I believe he played Admiral Halsey in Bay's Pearl Harbor.

From what I understand, that voice he uses for such roles isn't even his natural accent, but he uses it so often that people think it is.
