Official Images of Wave 1 Ultra-Class Powerglide and Onslaught

Powerglide appears to be mistransformed...though I'm not 100% sure on that.

Onslaught looks awesome, I cant wait to see it in person. Powerglide is an easy pass for me.

I much preferred Onslaught's original color scheme.

EDIT: Actually, I dislike the new color scheme so much that I'll wait to see how the inevitable Henkei repaint turns out to be.

Hah, Monzo from the Allspark forums gets props with every Onslaught toy! (that's his birthdate tampographed on the toy)

yah i kinda wanna pass on both. Onslaught, i may change my mind if i like him in person. Powerglide maybe if he gets the Heike treatment.

Both look great and the boxes are simply amazing as well. My only problem is that Powerglide should be RED. Hopefully Henkei Powerglide will be.

Why in the world did Hasbro change the black parts to light gray on Onslaught?

I will tell you, I know some love Hasbro and some love TakaraTomy. But Hasbro's little "touches" always seem to make the toy worse while TakaraTomy adds little touches that make a toy full of awesome and spice. I don't understand it. Every time I think I'm going to like something...

And I still can't believe the fraud they get away with by always picturing a toy dolled up with more paint apps on the box than what you get inside. I find it extremely distasteful not to mention unethical. Look at the back of the box pics compared to the final production peices. Quite a difference even if you get rid of the cheap photoshop effects.

Thank goodness for Henkei.

Onslaught looks good. Still not sold on Powerglide. I'm just not feeling his size, color scheme, or the turboshaft style exhaust they slapped onto what are presumably supposed to be turbofan engines.

These look terrible. I still wanna see Powerglide's heart gimmick, but Onslaught is just full of fail. He suffers from "WTF do I turn into" syndrome. Poor Powerglide not only has tiny arms, but he has a bad case of "Hasbro couldn't TF their figs correctly if their lives depended on it". His vehicle mode looks meh at first glance, kinda cool on second glance, but on the third take you notice it really does look meh.


EDIT: Looking again it seems Powerglide is NOT mistransformed, but in fact he really does look that bad. My mistake.

The Geewunner in me still really wished Powerglide was red, but oh well. Both need to get here NOW.
