Not to be confused with every other actual TF and GI Joe in my collection. Which, in reality, are also just worthless pieces of plastic and metal. |

See, something has worth when someone gives it worth. So if I value it, and say, I'd pay $5 for it, or, say, I'd skip lunch for it, then that's how much it's worth to me.
So to a collector willing to buy one for $30 or whatever, regardless of whether or not it's authentic or real, it's worth $30. This can be used to establish market value over the course of several recorded purchases. This is generally what people are referring to when they say something is "worth" something, at least when talking about collectibles or tangible items.
So to avoid confusion, you shouldn't say it's "worthless", unless you mean it's worthless to you, which should be followed by the qualifier "to me".
If you're making an editorial statement about the authenticity or whatever, then just use the KOs are bad thread! |

But I guess my money is not good enough for them. Looks like myself and everyone else who wants a reissue/replica/KO Reflector will just have to let supply and demand in the market work itself out. Since KOs like these sell for a nice chunk of change, I guess its not exactly worthless is it? |

However, Reflector is one of my G1 Holy Grails, and if I can get a decent enough representation for an affordable price.....the temptaion may be too great. He'd make such a great centerpeice for my Real Gears shelf.... Quote:
