Keep it on topic folks, and stop flaming each other. Say it civilly or don't say it at all.

Depending on the length of the contract etc it's very important to get online content sorted out now as it will take over and become a huge money earner.
Then base it off of profit, not on X per episode. Demanding so much per episode downloaded makes it a HUGE profit loser for the companies. Unfortunately, SAG can't seem to figure that out.

That's part of it yes. They seem to be attempting to get so much in royalties per episode, but they should really be attempting to get x amount off of the gross profit. It'd make more sense that way and everyone would walk away happy.

His name is Sir Richard Attenborough; a man who in one way or another has been involved in film and stage since the 1940's (as an example, he directed Ghandi with Ben Kingsley), and older brother of world renound, respected and revered naturalist Sir David Attenborough.

And by the way, the character he played in Jurassic Park was Dr. John Hammond.

Nice try, but no cigar my friend.

On topic I agree that for every famous bastard at the top of the totem pole who get worshiped, there are thousands at the bottom who are getting pissed on by the animals. While I agree it sounds so fake when people like Brad Pitt stand up and say what they think, I'd rather they said something about something than nothing about everything.

Eh, there's always going to be someone who knows who some actor is. And, considering how far we are into this thread and you're the first person to comment on his identity I'd say that in itself makes a good point.

Also, yeah, I realized after I posted it that I'd left the d off the guy's name however I was too lazy to go edit my post, but thanks for pointing that out for me.

Good point. Can't forget about the residual profits on these things.
