The Premium Series Leaders have hit mass retail. Sighted Premium Optimus Prime and Megatron at the Meijer stores in both Elgin, IL and Rolling Meadows, IL. The Elgin stores got three cases in, while the Rolling Meadows store got two.

'Bout damn time! I'll give it a fews day, though. They ain't gonna show up in Jersey that fast.

 

I worry a little though. Most stores in this area have seemed to overstock Nightwatch Prime and Desert Strike Brawl, so I don't know when they're goin to be able to put up more leaders.

Same here in S.C. we barely got through the first wave of allspark power last week. (walmart exclusives I hope arrive sometime this month.)

These are cool. Though I think some people are going to be upset megatron does'nt have his red blades painted in. I've always found those blades appealing though as it reminds me of the aliens in quake 4.

I'll certainly get the premium line when their in stores. (It's official ...grimwing is a repaint addict)

nice i want these. I think I may exchange my two normal ones that are unopened for these! I'm assuming they have different UPCs so i could just return them.

 

i wish this megs came out the first time. i cant spend another 40.

 

Not that I will do it, but now it's only a matter of time before opened Premium Leader boxes with the original Prime and Megs replaced in them are on shelves. People who do that disgust me.

 

This is probably a Megs I'd pick up.

 

I'm going to need to see both of these in person before I buy, no online purchases of these two for me. I originally was full-on for Premium Megatron, until I learned he's actually NOT painted all-silver like oh-so-sweet Premium Jazz. And I want to see how much metallic paint is on Premium Prime-- just the mold changes won't justify a $40 toy for me.

 

I am just happy to see that these toys are coming out because that means that the Universe toys are just getting closer to release even if it is still 6 months away.

Well thanks to all the nightwatch Primes and Camo brawls on the shelfs, it'll be a good 4 weeks or more before I see these guys. Pity too, these were the last two leader class figures I intended to buy.
