yeah its really too bad the Alt mode is compromise since I actually prefer this bot mode design compared to the leader.

*sigh* Yet another person whining about the gun pointing backwards in vehicle mode. That seems a little harsh to claim the toy isn't show-accurate when he seems pretty close to his animation model. I've stopped listening to complaints like this along with the 'Grimlock shoulders' issue. Ignore, people.

for me its not so much the orientation of the gun as much as how the Alt mode is put together - I have the toy - it just doesn't stand up to the same quality as the rest of the figures in general - I have 4 others.

its something that u can get over once its in ur hands, but it seems like such a missed opportunity, especially in light of the recent shady Alt mode movie megs.

I agree with him about which way the jet should face - forget the gun, it just looks better the other way around. It even has the single landing gear on what I call the "front", like almost every other jet toy in existence.

It makes no sense to face it the other way. Cartoon be damned, gun facing forward is the way it should be oriented, and that's how I fly mine around the house.

Other than that, he's a whiner. Megs is awesomeness.

It's an ALIEN jet, it's not supposed to look like a real jet. Atleast it looks like something. I'd be a little dissapointed if it wasn't since it would make no sense whatsoever. I do echo the "gun faces forward" statement, though. But really, it's a simple matter of rotating the fiugure, hell, you don't even have to go that far, depending on whereyou have the figure sitting.

Although I don't get where "Fatguy" gets at saying it's so inaccurate to the show. Is he talking about the jet mode? The robot mode's pretty spot-on except for the shade of gray and the head dress thing.

However, inlight of the "preview" pack and the Leader megs, I'm skipping this fig big time.

The gun faces backwards because in "Jet" form it becomes his engine. I think it's a good way to make his weapon practical in both modes. In robot form, blaster. In vehicle mode, engine. It's not show accurate, but it works.

Hmmm to me he kind of looks like the ship from Firefly.

This is my first time seeing the voyager, and there are many more problems than the way the gun faces in hovertank or whatever that is mode.

Well I think it actually looks better in reverse, so that's how he'll be in my house. Pretty un-aerodynamic when viewed correctly though.
