The sword is pretty massive, I guess it doesn't hide in alt mode after all, which would make Grimlock and the other dinos the first and so far only animated toys with loose parts. But frankly, it looks so good I don't care.
Oh yes, the looks, the colours are not good, not fantastic, they are simply amazing, it looks exactly like he does in the show, every detail is there.
I hope the rest of the toys will be this good.
Edit: Does it look to anyone else as though he has a multi jointed tail?
I know it folds down the side of of his legs to transform but I wonder if it's even a little articulated in dino mode also.

As long as the Animated line continues with both a great show and even BETTER toys Hasbro will definitely succeed in making Transformers popular again. But, they need to get Animated onto one of the main networks children watch and OFF of cable if possible.
As for the sword, I'm thinking it can either connect inside of the mouth for the fire breathing look (hence the appearance of the sword) or maybe his tail so he looks like a dino with fiery farts.

Here's hoping for a bot-mode shot to surface soon. While I do think he tops every single Grimlock toy before it, I still really like Classics Grimlock. Here's also hoping for a Swoop prototype to show up soon too. Quote:
