Plus, he's said "I'm the new leader!" more times than "How it pains me to do this!", so I'd say that the former is technically his catch-phrase. | |

I would really like to hear Starscream's "I am the new leader! " line. I somewhat felt it was missing at the end of the first movie. I would really like to see a scene where Starscream has returned to Cybertron, gathers the Decepticons, and announces "The Mighty Megatron has fallen! I, Starscream, am now your leader! Decepticons! Follow me!"
This line could be expanded on, naturally, to include Decepticon glory, revenge against the Autobots, those sort of ideas.  However, I really want to hear him say the leader line, as well as (in his usual sneering tone) Mighty Megatron!

Starscream preemptively claiming leadership of the Decepticons has always been one of his more entertaining traits in G1. And it'd work so well in the movie, given that Megatron really isn't around (yet?!) anyway.
But sorry, "Oh, how it pains me to do this" really is a good one too.
