Wow.... that looks great so far, but I also hope it doesn't limit articulation too much and can hold his guns in the end. Hopefully this ends up being findable at a reasonable price.

If anyone has an unused sticker sheet for Overlord, please give it to Reprolabels so they can make a sheet!

Man I can't get over the naiveness with which things like these custom kits, G-System heads, etc. are approached by people thinking that it is comparable to a mass market toy.

Then, when the price IS released in a few weeks, and it is $100+ dollars, everyone is going to post "Crap...overpriced crap," "Wow, so not worth it, I'll just buy a REAL toy," and "$100 for a hand made custom? No thanks."

Just wait Its more reliable than a sunrise.

While you make a good point about the price having to be high just to break even (and then some to make a profit) most collectors aren't millionaires. True, some still live with their parents, some have bills to pay, and a select few have a significant other they have to occasionally pay attention to (which is nothing to say of the kids). Point being, if it costs too much, it aint worth it. Toys ain't everything, ya know?

This is something Hasbro should have seriously thought about doing.

If you really want this...

If you really want this, just be patient. These will definitely be distributed in North America, as well as stores carrying them online.

I likes!I get tired of them just making a prime repaint and pawning it off to the
public as Ultra.Yeah,Ultra's body is like Prime's without the carrier.I get it,but
people forget that the carrier mode is Ultra's trade trademark. That said, this is
nice whether it is a car carrier or armored transport trailer deal. Now if someone
would come up with a way to make an original looking nemisis Prime/Scourge.

The reason that it isn't "worth it" and that it "costs too much" to most fans (including me! ) is that this stuff isn't marketed to most collectors. It's marketed to a niche audience of garage kit builders who enjoy supporting this aspect of the hobby and building/customizing these kinds of kits. Through the targeting of an exclusive market it has more in common with the Transformers Movie shaving sets than the Ultra Magnus figure it is meant to compliment. (In fact, people still complained that the shaving sets wouldn't fit in with their collections ) People should know by now if they are the type of person who can't wait to fork over hundreds for handmade kits, and they should learn to understand and expect how this type of market works, thats all I'm saying.
