Bay isn't capable of writing things like dialog, human interaction, plot, etc... he doesn't seem to understand such things. Especially human interaction, he's mentally wired to regard other people as objects. At least, he treats Murphy and DeSanto like puppets in his interviews.

Unless he's planning on TF2 being a return to the silent film era(assuming explosions are classified as silent).
