#1 | | ...And Baby Makes Four Join Date: Jun 2002 Posts: 8,947 Location: Elgin, IL News Credits: 1 | Animated Schedule Change, Episode 5 Skipped (Possible Spoilers After 1st Post) Cartoon Network updated their schedule regarding Transformers Animated. Originally, Episode 5 (Total Meltdown) was scheduled to air next weekend (Saturday 12th/Sunday 13th), but has now been replaced by Episode 6 (Blast from the Past). The episode to air on the 19th and 20th will be Episode 7 (Thrill of the Hunt).
There is currently no word on why Episode 5 is being skipped or if and when that missed Episode will air. http://schedule.cartoonnetwork.com/x...d&timezone=EST

I honestly don't believe this is like the banning of R.I.D episodes because of sensitivity issues, but more like the original run of Batman:TAS where the finished episodes weren't aired in the proper order. Of course, Batman episodes were almost all stand-alone stories where Animated has more of a continuing storyline.
Maybe "Meltdown" is more of a stand-alone episode as the synopsis seemed to indicate. Avoiding spoilers, but wouldn't you all say "Blast From The Past" is more connected to "Home Is Where The Spark Is"? |
