Animated Schedule Change, Episode 5 Skipped (Possible Spoilers After 1st Post)

Cartoon Network updated their schedule regarding Transformers Animated. Originally, Episode 5 (Total Meltdown) was scheduled to air next weekend (Saturday 12th/Sunday 13th), but has now been replaced by Episode 6 (Blast from the Past). The episode to air on the 19th and 20th will be Episode 7 (Thrill of the Hunt).

There is currently no word on why Episode 5 is being skipped or if and when that missed Episode will air.

I'm getting flashbacks of "Robots in Disguise" censorings... they didn't blow up a building in this episode, too, did they?

Hope future DVDs one day get it right and it's a US release.

guess I was so excited about episode 6 that I didn't even think of the reason why they'd skip 5. That's a good point, and now I'm curious.

Not to go into detail (not allowed due to board rules) but a RID episode needed to be re-dubbed and delayed due to 9/11.

And that's ALL I'm gonna say so as not to violate any rules.

Hmm, well I'm kind of happy because I want to see episode 6 way more than episode 5.

Maybe they just felt the Dinobots episode was the stronger/better episode to air after episode 4. I honestly don't believe this is like the banning of R.I.D episodes because of sensitivity issues, but more like the original run of Batman:TAS where the finished episodes weren't aired in the proper order. Of course, Batman episodes were almost all stand-alone stories where Animated has more of a continuing storyline.

Maybe "Meltdown" is more of a stand-alone episode as the synopsis seemed to indicate. Avoiding spoilers, but wouldn't you all say "Blast From The Past" is more connected to "Home Is Where The Spark Is"?
