He really looks a lot like a big guy in a speed-skating suit.
Or like The Tick, yes. 
BUT... I really doubt I'm the first person to have gotten this, but anybody else notice that Sentinel Prime appears to be... Optimus Primal?
The head design, the simian proportions, the monster truck altmode... it's almost too much to ignore. I haven't seen the colours on this guy yet, but I can't help feeling that he's intended as a Primal reference... though for what reason, I really can't say.
